Sign in hereWelcome to GeoSafe, a cloud platform owned, developed, and operated by Geomount Inc. ("Geomount," "we," "our," or "us") and our Terms of Service (the "Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully, as they govern your use of our website https://geosafe.ca (the "Site"), as well as our geospatial risk screening and decision-support services accessible through the Site. To make these Terms easier to read, the Site, our platform, and our services are collectively referred to as the "Services."
GeoSafe provides automated screening-level analysis of climate and natural hazard risks using geospatial datasets and modeling assumptions, including Canadian federal open data sources such as Natural Resources Canada (NRCan).
Results are for preliminary screening and risk awareness only and are not a substitute for professional engineering services, regulatory assessments, or site-specific studies. Do not use GeoSafe outputs as engineering design input or regulatory documentation.
By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, do not use the Services.
If you are accessing or using the Services on behalf of a company, government body, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In that case, "you" and "your" refer to that entity.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand the types of information we collect, how we collect information, and how we use and share your information.
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. Continued use of the Services after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the changes.
GeoSafe does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information or outputs generated through the Services.
If you choose to submit Feedback, you grant Geomount Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, fully paid, royalty-free license to use and exploit the Feedback for any purpose.
(a) Account Creation
To access certain features, you must create a GeoSafe account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep such information up to date. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
(b) Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your Account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
(c) Unauthorized Use
We may suspend, disable, or terminate your Account if we determine that you have violated these Terms.
Certain Services may be offered on a subscription or paid basis. Payments are processed through third-party payment processors. Subscription fees are non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise.
You may not use the Services to violate any applicable law, misrepresent GeoSafe outputs as final or certified, infringe intellectual property rights, upload malicious code, or scrape/reverse engineer the platform.
All software, models, trademarks, and content associated with the Services are owned by Geomount Inc. or its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GEOMOUNT INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada.

GeoSafe, operated by Geomount Inc., is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our geospatial risk assessment platform.
Personal Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and organization type.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you use our Services, including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.
Property Data: When you conduct risk assessments, we process location and property information you provide.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers, professional advisors, and law enforcement when required by law.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Services. You may request deletion of your account at any time.
We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.
